2007-08 MIDGET PLAYOFF FORMAT

Midget 16 AA, Midget 18AA:
No playoffs- top 4 teams to Districts

Midget 16 A, Midget 18 A: 
Top two teams advance to Districts (next six to playoffs)
 
First round:  Seed 5 vs Seed 8
                   Seed 6 vs Seed 7
 
Semi-finals: Seed 3 vs Lowest seed winning first round game
                  Seed 4 vs Other first round winner
 
Finals:  Two semi-final winners (winner advances to Districts as third place for DVHL) – both teams get trophies for 1^st & 2^nd place at playoffs
